The London Series is finally here.
The Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals are ready for action.
But as the series kicks off, there are several things to look forward to.
Saturday’s pitching matchup was a matchup between Justin Steele and Adam Wainwright.
Wainwright came into Saturday’s start with a 3-1 record and 5.56 ERA through his first eight games.
But before the beginning of the series, an interesting bobblehead was on display that featured the two-time World Series champion in a London Guard uniform.

This bobblehead was actually a promotion put on by the Cardinals during their last homestand.
When Wainwright started a series finale against the Cincinnati Reds on June 11, the team gave fans entering Busch Stadium this London Guard bobblehead.
This cool bobblehead features Wainwright holding a baseball bat while standing outside of an old telephone booth.
With Wainwright’s start on Saturday, he has officially pitched in four different countries over the course of his legendary career.
The two-time World Series champion has pitched several games in the United States, but also started an opener of a two-game series with the Reds that took place in Monterrey, Mexico back in 2019.
The veteran right-hander even started a game at Rogers Centre against the Toronto Blue Jays.
But this bobblehead is the perfect way to commemorate the London Series as the Cardinals and Cubs square off for two games at London Stadium.
