Over this past month, the smoke from the Canadian wildfires has been making its way across the United States.

In places such as New York, Washington, and Philadelphia, the conditions were so smoky that the sky turned into a hazy color.

Baseball games were even postponed as a result.

The smoke made its way to St. Louis on Tuesday, creating similar conditions.

In downtown St. Louis, the Houston Astros and St. Louis Cardinals were facing each other in the opener of a three-game series.

On Twitter, Cardinals writer Jeff Jones posted a picture of the smoky conditions at Busch Stadium.

The conditions created a sort of purple haze around Busch Stadium.

The smoke can be seen in the shining lights in the outfield.

This has been an issue that several teams have had to deal with this season.

Tuesday was the first time the smoke had made its way to St. Louis.

Fortunately, the impact was minimal and did not affect the game in any way, but this is something that has been an issue this season due to air quality concerns.

But the picture shows just how much the smoke can affect the conditions of the game, as can be seen in the outfield lights.

With the sun having already set and the sky being a darker color, the smoky and dim conditions created an interesting haze around the ballpark, though it was not to the degree of what was seen in New York previously, when the sky around Yankee Stadium was almost yellow as a result.
