The Pittsburgh Pirates have officially signed outfielder Bryan Reynolds to an eight-year, $106.75 million contract extension that will last through the 2030 season.
There are no opt-out clauses in the deal, but the Pirates will hold a club option for the 2031 season.
This extension comes in the midst of a hot stretch for the Pirates, who are currently tied with the Atlanta Braves for the best record in the National League.
Fortunately for the Pirates, Reynolds is in Pittsburgh to stay and has signed the largest contract in team history.

Reynolds isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
This extension also comes months after the star outfielder requested a trade from the Pirates.
Pittsburgh lost 100 games last season and finished tied with the Cincinnati Reds for the bottom spot in the National League Central.
The Pirates asking price for Reynolds was understandably high.
Fortunately for the Pirates, Reynolds appears to have had a change of heart and is prepared to remain in Pittsburgh for the foreseeable future.
The star outfielder was drafted by the San Francisco Giants and came over to Pittsburgh in the deal that sent Andrew McCutchen back to San Francisco in 2018.
Reynolds made his MLB debut with the Pirates in 2019 and has been a key piece of the puzzle for a team that may be towards the end of their rebuilding phase.
For now, Pirates fans can enjoy having Reynolds around for at least the next eight seasons.
