The Detroit Pistons have remained by far the worst team in the NBA during the 2023-24 season and even tied the Philadelphia 76ers for the longest losing streak in league history.

The Pistons finally snapped their losing streak against the Toronto Raptors during the regular season.

Following the 129-127 win, the Pistons are seemingly riding high, and one reason is that fans can finally get the five free wings at Wingstop, which has become a huge meme on social media since the team’s losing streak.

For context, Wingstop is a food chain that announced that every customer will get five free wings at their restaurants in Detroit after every game that the Pistons win this season.

The free wings at Wingstop have become a running joke in the NBA community.

In fact, following the Pistons’ 129-127 win over the Raptors, many believe that the company would not be able to fulfill the sheer amount of orders that it will receive.

Speaking of the game, Cade Cunningham played a crucial role in the win as he recorded 30 points, 3 rebounds, and 12 assists for the Pistons.

In addition to Cunningham’s scoring outburst, Jalen Duren put up a vital performance as well.

The Pistons’ big man finished the game with 18 points, 17 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Following the win, the Pistons are still the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 3-29 record.

Although they have managed to snap their losing streak, the Pistons are still the worst team in the NBA, and it’s quite plausible that the team will go on another losing streak at some point in the season.
