The 2023-24 NBA season already looks like another chance to tank for the Detroit Pistons as they’ve now lost a league-leading 15 straight games.
Even though the Pistons made a splash in the summer by singing head Monty Williams, they have looked abysmal on both ends of the floor.
Considering how young Detroit’s roster is, it isn’t a surprise but it definitely isn’t fun for fans to have to watch.
With the Pistons heading for another top pick in the NBA Draft, it might be time for them to consider selling off some pieces for draft picks.
The most likely player to get moved is Bojan Bogdanovic who has yet to make his debut this season due to a calf injury.
Detroit’s shown in the past that they’re fond of Bogdanovic, so much so that they reportedly turned down two first-round picks for him at the trade deadline last year via Mike Scotto of HoopsHype.

With the parity across the league, teams were lining up to try and acquire Bogdanovic who was having a strong year shooting the basketball.
It almost felt inevitable that Bogdanovic would get moved, but Detroit inexplicably kept him despite the opportunities to add more draft capital.
The Pistons are going nowhere this season, and if Bogdanovic can show he’s healthy and still shooting lights out from beyond the arc then he should have his fair share of suitors again.
It’ll be interesting to see whether or not Detroit is willing to part with the sharpshooting forward at this year’s deadline.
