The “Madden NFL” franchise is a major monster in the midway, and it has consistently been one of the most popular video games across the land for many years.
In fact, players across the NFL seem to pay attention to and care about their player ratings in the game.
A few stars from across the league named their favorite players and teams to play as while competing in “Madden NFL,” per the NFL’s official Twitter account.
Puka Nacua, the excellent young wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams, said he liked to pick the Green Bay Packers and play as quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who was the Packers’ starter under center from 2008 to 2022.

Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons would play as Randy Moss when Moss was a member of the New England Patriots, and he said that these days, he typically plays as himself, but when he doesn’t, he likes using the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.
Nacua says that now, he likes to play as Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud.
Friday was the official release date for “Madden NFL 25,” and the game’s annual release date has become a sort of unofficial holiday for video gamers who are also NFL fans.
This year, the cover player for the franchise is San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, who led the league in rushing yards, total yards from scrimmage and total touchdowns while winning the Offensive Player of the Year award last season.
However, many have talked about that dreaded “Madden curse” that supposedly afflicts the player featured on the cover of the game each year, and sure enough, McCaffrey is dealing with a strained calf right now.
