Things got very heated during Game 6 between the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers on Thursday night.
More specifically, Patrick Beverley got heated.
He was already under fire for the way he treated some Pacers fans on the sidelines but Beverley’s post-game behavior also received a lot of criticism.
A video shared by Alex Golden on Twitter showed Beverley refusing to answer questions from ESPN’s Malinda Adams because she admitted that she is not subscribed to his podcast.
Rachel Nichols was one of the many people blasting Beverley for his actions.
“Yeah, none of this is okay. The woman he’s addressing is one of the most accomplished and professional TV producers not just at ESPN but in all of sports media, which makes Pat look even more foolish here,” Nichols said on Twitter.
She added, “That he’s apparently done this before this season to other people doesn’t excuse anything btw, it only begs the question of how it’s been allowed to keep happening.”

There were other analysts, reporters, and fans who attacked Beverley for how he behaved with Adams.
He was obviously in a bad mood because his team had just been eliminated from the playoffs, but that doesn’t excuse how he acts.
Beverley has always been a hot-headed player so seeing him act out isn’t too surprising.
But he treated Adams poorly after he lobbed a ball at fans sitting courtside just moments before.
Taken together, it all makes Beverley look really bad.
Beverley is now a pending free agent moving into the summer, so it’ll be interesting to see what the Bucks do with him.
Will his actions on Thursday evening influence their approach?
