NBA free agency has once again been quite wild this summer, with some surprising changes that could rock the league in the new season.
Perhaps the biggest move was Paul George’s departure from the Los Angeles Clippers to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Speaking on Monday’s “Undisputed,” Rachel Nichols said George to Philadelphia is a “perfect fit” because “he does the thing nobody else there does.”
She stated that George will take some pressure off of both Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey and could help the team reach its next level, although competition in the Eastern Conference will still be very tough.

George is the sort of star who can lead plays, work well with others, and score on his own.
And although he isn’t the best defender in the league, he can also shut down opponents.
On paper, George looks like the missing piece Philadelphia needed.
But many risks come with him.
He might not bring everything together in Philadelphia and the team could continue to struggle in the playoffs.
After all, the Clippers still floundered in the postseason even with George and a few other superstars.
Additionally, the 76ers’ front office might be lacking future choices because they are now strapped for cash after landing George.
That could set them up as the next Phoenix Suns, a team that has some great talent but very little cash to add more.
The 76ers want to be the biggest threat to the Boston Celtics but Nichols warned that may take time.
Philadelphia might need a few years before they are on the same level as the Celtics and this upcoming season might not be as impressive as fans hope.
