The Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs faced off in Week 12, a game that started strongly in favor of the Raiders.

After starting the game up 14-0, the Raiders were feeling confident against their longtime divisional rivals.

However, the Chiefs ended up storming back, defeating the Raiders with a final score of 31-17.

Things might have started slowly for the Chiefs, but they ended up turning things around, especially in the second half.

Despite their win, some members of the Raiders team were not convinced of the Chiefs’ standing as a contender in the AFC.

After the game, Raiders cornerback, Amik Robertson said, “I know we’re better than that team,” adding, “We got more dogs” per reporter Gilberto Obregon.

He believes the Raiders have a better overall team, and that they have much better playmakers than the Chiefs.

Many might doubt the validity of this claim, especially since the Chiefs ended up winning this game in blowout fashion.

They have won the AFC West for seven straight years, and they are well on their way to winning their eighth title if current trends continue.

However, to Robertson’s point, the Raiders have played significantly better as of late.

Head coach Antonio Pierce has seemingly lit a fire underneath this team, and his players have responded well.

They are likely out of the playoffs, but for a team that looked lifeless under Josh McDaniels, this is a marked improvement.

With the “dogs” that Robertson mentions on the Raiders roster, they will likely be in a good position to succeed in 2024 and beyond.
