During training camp, it is not at all uncommon to see teams make minor roster tweaks here or there, especially ahead of preseason games.
The Las Vegas Raiders recently announced that they have signed free-agent wide receiver Dax Milne.
A former seventh-round pick of the Washington Commanders out of BYU, Milne was predominantly a return man in Washington (40 punt returns for 311 yards in 2022).

Las Vegas already has a very crowded wide receiver room at the start of the preseason.
Led by possible future Hall of Fame wide receiver Davante Adams, the offense also has Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker, and Jalen Guyton out wide.
However, there is not much else after that, which is why Milne could have an opportunity to make the roster.
He did catch 70 passes for almost 1,200 yards in his final season at BYU.
If he can find a way to show off his return skills and make enough of an effort as a receiver, he could be a valuable piece for head coach Antonio Pierce.
Regardless of whether or not the team decides to keep Milne, this Raiders team is made up of a lot of unknown and unproven players on both sides of the ball.
In a division with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, as well as Jim Harbaugh and the Los Angeles Chargers, the Raiders could have tough sledding this season.
Aside from the likes of Davante Adams and Maxx Crosby, the Raiders’ roster just isn’t as loaded as some of their old foes.
