For years, Cooper Kupp has been one of the best wide receivers in the National Football League.
Not so long ago, he had a legitimate MVP-caliber season, winning the wide receivers’ triple-crown and establishing himself among the creme of the crop.
However, he was never a highly-touted player or someone who turned a lot of heads in college, and some even doubted his ability to make it to the league.
He’s the true definition of ‘earned, not given,’ and someone who continues to take the same approach to the game after years in the league.
That’s why it wasn’t much of a surprise to see one of his teammates praise his work ethic.
Talking to Kay Adams, Los Angeles Rams CB Tre’Davious White raved about Kupp’s attention to detail and approach to the game (via Up & Adams).

He talked about how hard he works and how he’s always one of the first guys in and the last guys out, not to mention how good of a teammate he is.
Kupp is an established player in the game already, but he doesn’t take it for granted or cheat the game in any shape or form.
That’s what separates good players from great ones.
It takes more than just talent and athleticism to make it in the NFL.
You have to want it more than everybody else, and that kind of competitive fire needs to keep burning for as long as you’re still playing, regardless of how big of a star you are already.
