The NFL is filled with dynamic wide receivers, a position that has gotten increasingly valuable due to the pass-friendly nature of the league.

While many teams across the league have an alpha WR1, it can be challenging to have two or more dominant players at the position, mainly due to cap constraints.

In a recent conversation with NBC’s John Clark, Randy Moss highlighted two teams fortunate to have elite wide receiver tandems.

He gave the Cincinnati Bengals a nod in this area but ultimately decided that the Philadelphia Eagles have the best duo in the league.

When discussing A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, Moss said, “I would put them at the top… 100%.”

Randy Moss says AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith are the best WR duo in the NFL: “I would put them at the top.. 100%. If there’s any other I could compare, it would probably be the Bengals.. But I don’t really think there’s a combination better than them.”

Moss is widely recognized as one of the league’s best over the past 20 years and even throughout NFL history.

When he discusses receiver talent, people take the time to listen to what he has to say.

Brown made his way to the Eagles before the 2022 season and greatly impacted team production.

He had the fourth-most yards in the league last year, finding an instant connection with his new quarterback, Jalen Hurts.

While Brown’s emergence could have signaled a downturn in production for Smith, his presence on the offense was good for him.

Smith finished the year with 1,196 yards, the ninth-highest total in the league.

Both will look forward to the 2023 season, hoping to return to the Super Bowl, making another strong run in the NFC.

Will the Eagles be able to pay both athletes after this season, given that 2023 will be Smith’s third year in the league?
