The 2023-24 NBA season has been forgettable, to say the least, for the Toronto Raptors, with the team finishing the season as one of the worst squads in the league.
Although the Raptors didn’t have high expectations coming into the 2023-24 campaign, the team seemed talented enough to rally around Scottie Barnes and win more than 25 games, which they couldn’t, as Toronto finished with a disappointing record of 25-57.
Fortunately, the Raptors can look forward to the 2024 NBA Draft, where the team now owns three picks in the first 31 selections, which can be a game-changer for Toronto.

Although this year’s draft isn’t considered to be particularly deep, the Raptors could still do some damage by either bringing in some young talent around Barnes and company or making a trade to bring in a proven star.
It is anyone’s guess what the Raptors are doing at this point, as the team was content with parting ways with stars Pascal Siakam and OG Anunboy in trades, which might signal a desire to rebuild.
It’ll be interesting to see what moves the Raptors make during the NBA offseason and what that might mean for the struggling franchise moving forward, as the team has some assets to work with that might attract some trade calls during the offseason.
Only time will tell what’s in store for the Raptors and whether the team is anxious to get back to being competitive or are willing to be patient.
