During the 2023 NFL season, the Baltimore Ravens came into their own with superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson having one of the best seasons of his career, winning the NFL MVP award for a second time.

Despite playing in arguably the toughest division in the NFL, Baltimore was able to dominate the competition from week to week on its way to winning 13 games, clinching the AFC North division title and locking up the top seed in the conference.

Unfortunately for the Ravens, the NFL playoffs were another beast entirely, with the team eventually falling to the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

Although the team failed to live up to expectations in the postseason, the team has a chance to be very good for quite some time with the right moves made.

One of the moves the team made in the offseason was drafting cornerback Nate Wiggins out of Clemson University in the first round, who the team has already signed to a rookie deal, according to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team.

The #Ravens have signed their first-round pick, CB Nate Wiggins, to a fully guaranteed 4-year deal worth $12.8M. He gets $6.1M from a signing bonus and a fifth-year team option.

With the Ravens having one of the best offenses in the NFL, the team addressing the defensive side of the football in the draft was a smart move, with Wiggins being one of the best corners in this draft class.

It remains to be seen if the Ravens can repeat their success of the regular season during the 2024 campaign and carry that over to the postseason, but the team already looks pretty good on paper.
