The Baltimore Ravens might be looking to add some help along their defensive front before the start of the season.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Baltimore is hosting veteran defensive tackle Lawrence Guy for a visit and workout today.
“The long-time Patriots starter spent two seasons starting in Baltimore,” Rapoport recently wrote on social media.

Bringing in Guy could be a massive addition if both sides can agree to terms on a contract after a possible successful workout.
Before Guy became a key piece of the defensive line in New England for seven seasons, as Rapoport notes, he spent time with the Ravens.
He was traded to Baltimore during the 2014 season and would go on to play full seasons for head coach John Harbaugh in both 2015 and 2016.
His 4.5 sacks that he recorded in 2015 with the Ravens are still a career-high for the 34-year-old.
If the Ravens were to get the former Super Bowl champion, that would be another veteran addition for a team that has continued to stack veteran additions this offseason.
They added All-Pro running back Derrick Henry, former Pro Bowl safety Eddie Jackson, and former All-Pro return man Deonte Hardy.
Also, it is important to note that this Ravens defense is already one of the best units in all of football.
They finished the 2023 season ranked first in the league in average points allowed per game (16.5).
Adding a serviceable veteran in Guy, who has a history of clogging up rushing lanes and getting after the passer, could be a quality move just before the start of the season.
