Late this season, it looked like the Baltimore Ravens were the best team in the NFL, especially after they blew out the San Francisco 49ers in a Christmas Day showdown in California.

They finished with a 13-4 record, which was the best record in the league, and they finished first in points allowed and fourth in points scored, only to fizzle out by losing in the AFC Championship Game to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Keeping their core together is the first key to them getting another shot at the Super Bowl next season, and on Tuesday, they re-signed wide receiver Nelson Agholor, per Ari Meirov.

While Baltimore didn’t have a single skill player on offense get named to the Pro Bowl this season, they got the job done by committee in the passing game.

Agholor caught 35 passes, which was tied for third on the team, for 381 yards and four touchdowns during the regular season.

A nine-year veteran, he spent his first five seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, and he arguably peaked in the 2017 season when he had 768 yards and eight touchdowns while getting himself a Super Bowl ring.

The brightest talent the Ravens have on offense, other than quarterback and regular-season MVP Lamar Jackson, is wide receiver Zay Flowers, who had a banner rookie year with 77 catches for 858 yards and five touchdowns.

They will also benefit from having a healthy Mark Andrews, the three-time Pro Bowl tight end who was limited to 544 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games this year because of an ankle injury he suffered in November.
