The Baltimore Ravens will be looking to prove themselves as Super Bowl contenders during the 2024 NFL season after falling short in the AFC Championship Game earlier this year.
The Ravens were the best overall team during the 2023 NFL campaign as they had a great offense backed by one of the stingiest defenses in the league, but just came up short against the Kansas City Chiefs.
However, Baltimore still boasts a strong roster heading into the new regular season as it features Lamar Jackson, the reigning NFL MVP.
With preseason action underway, the Ravens will get a few opportunities to evaluate the current state of the roster and give shots to players on the bubble.
Although the 53-man roster will likely only have a couple of openings on it, the team announced it made four moves via Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2.
“#Ravens signed Jack Browning, Anthony Miller, waived Tykeem Doss, Randen Plattner,” Wilson reported.

Anthony Miller is the most interesting name on the list as the wide receiver is a former second-round pick and has had a couple of moments in the league.
Jake Browning is an undrafted free agent signing out of San Diego State where he was also a placekicker.
Both players are unlikely to make the final roster, though have a shot to earn a spot on the Ravens’ practice squad in 2024.
These are low-risk signings that usually don’t pan out, but there’s not a lot of harm in bringing players like Miller and Browning into the fold to shore up some depth.
