After 24 years and six Super Bowl titles won, the New England Patriots and legendary head coach Bill Belichick decided to part ways once the 2023 NFL season was officially done for the storied NFL franchise.
Even though it seemed like this would never be the case with Belichick and the Patriots, the two sides clearly knew it was time to move on, which made the head coach one of the most desirable candidates for all the head coaching vacancies in the league.
However, now that every head coaching gig in the league has been filled ahead of the Super Bowl, with Dan Quinn becoming Ron Rivera’s successor with the Washington Commanders, Belichick is officially out of a job for the 2024 NFL season, which is surprising, to say the least.
It seemed like it was inevitable that Belichick would land with the Atlanta Falcons, but they went with Raheem Morris; he never really became a realistic candidate for another team.
With Belichick not getting hired, Marlon Humphrey of the Baltimore Ravens felt compelled to take a shot at him on social media, claiming the greatest head coach of all time debate can be put to rest since the legendary head coach did not get a job this offseason.

Even though it is surprising that Belichick is currently unemployed after there were so many openings in the NFL, it’s a little too soon to say that he’s no longer the greatest head coach of all time because his resume is still incredible and far better than anyone else’s.
However, Belichick could be exposed if he moves to another team and has no success.
