The Baltimore Ravens suffered a big loss recently.
Assistant coach Joe D’Alessandris passed away, and so did Jacoby Jones, one of the best players in their history.
That’s why they’re going to have a classy gesture to honor both of their memories.
Per their own announcement, the team will wear a helmet decal to pay them tribute.
The Ravens unveiled a helmet decal that honors Jacoby Jones and offensive line coach Joe D’Alessandris, both of whom passed away this year.

D’Alessandris was known for being an outstanding offensive line coach and, for those who got to know him, a very kind person.
“Joe D,” as he was known by his players, spent 17 seasons in the league, seven of those with the Ravens, and the offensive linemen will dedicate him this season.
As for Jones, he shockingly died in July.
He helped the Ravens win a Super Bowl back in 2013.
The Ravens already had more than enough reasons to be motivated ahead of the upcoming campaign, especially after being so close to another trip to the Super Bowl last season.
But now, their motivation will be much more significant and bigger than football.
Those decals will be a daily reminder not only to leave it all on the field but also of the briefness of life itself and to live it to the fullest.
