It’s no secret that the Tampa Bay Rays have been off to a very hot start this season.
They won each of their first 13 games of the season and have also taken command of the American League East division early on.
They lead the second-place Baltimore Orioles by 4.5 games.
But after their 13-game win streak was snapped and the Rays stumbled a bit, they have regained their footing and have now won five consecutive games.
As a result of this, the Rays have returned to a very familiar spot in the power rankings.
Once again, Tampa Bay finds themselves at the top of the list.

The Atlanta Braves had taken the top spot last week.
However, the Rays have returned to the top.
Atlanta ranks second on the list.
Rounding out the top five are New York Mets, Milwaukee Brewers, and New York Yankees, respectively.
But the list doesn’t end there.
The bottom half of the Top 10 list features a whole host of great teams who are expected to do some damage in 2023 and repeat their 2022 success.
The defending World Series champion Houston Astros rank at No. 6 on the list, with the Toronto Blue Jays coming in at No. 7.
The Los Angeles Dodgers fall in the No. 8 spot.
A new team has also joined the list.
That team is the Baltimore Orioles, who come in at No. 9.
The San Diego Padres round out the Top 10 list and find themselves at the bottom spot.
But the Rays are back in front of the rest of the pack and are playing some solid baseball.
