Baseball is often a weird game.

Fans, players, broadcasters, and media members can certainly attest to that.

But on Monday night, during a game between the Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros, things got very interesting.

Former player and current broadcaster Kevin Millar made an interesting prediction with Adam Duvall at the plate.

Millar predicted that Duvall would hit a three-run homer in the top of the first inning.

Sure enough, the Red Sox broadcaster and former fan-favorite was correct as Duvall crushed a pitch out to deep left field to put Boston ahead, 3-0.

After the game, Millar commented on his prediction, saying: “It just felt right.”

Of course, this isn’t the first time Millar has made a crazy prediction that ultimately came true.

With the Red Sox down 3-0 in the 2004 ALCS, Millar famously warned: “Don’t let us win tonight.”

This was because the final three games of the series set up very well for Boston.

The Sox won Games 4 and 5 at home and went back to New York to win Games 6 and 7.

This is obviously a different scenario, but it appears that Millar has a knack for being able to predict the future.

He was able to do it then, and he was able to do it last night.

As Duvall followed through on his swing, Millar was in complete and utter shock that his prediction had come true.

But according to the former Red Sox star, it just “felt right.”

In the end, it was right, and Duvall went deep.
