It is time to buckle up if you are a Chargers fan.
They are one of the league’s most intriguing teams entering the NFL Draft.
After hiring Jim Harbaugh but moving on from top receivers in Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, Los Angeles could really be game for any sort of move in the first round of the draft.
Do they want to trade up or down?
The new rumor on Thursday, according to Fox Sports’s Colin Cowherd, is that the Chargers want to move down in the draft order.
“This morning, the rumor is three teams have called the Chargers about that No. 5 overall pick. I’ve been told the Chargers want to move down,” Cowherd said on The Herd.
“The Chicago Bears butcher quarterbacks like rock stars trash hotel rooms in the 80’s.”

This is a team that knows they have some holes to fill, especially out wide and in the slot.
Could they be interested in Marvin Harrison Jr. or Rome Odunze to help fill the void left by Allen and Williams?
Or, maybe they are interested in fixing the offensive line.
The questions are if the Chargers will move down or not and what position they will address.
What isn’t a question is how much of a wildcard team they are.
With Harbaugh and Herbert together, this team can be contenders instantly.
Thursday night is going to go a long way in determining how good this team can be in the first year under Harbaugh.
