Life as a fan of the New York Jets has been pretty difficult so far this season, and it didn’t get any easier in Week 3 when the team took on the New England Patriots.
Despite the matchup being played inside the Jets’ home stadium, it was the Patriots who left the field with a victory, their first of the 2023 season.
With the loss, New York’s record fell to 1-2, and they are now 0-2 this season with Zach Wilson as their starting quarterback.
The Jets have only played three games this year, but the fan base has already seen enough of Wilson, including NFL Network’s Rich Eisen.
“We’re done watching this young kid try and get the controls of the position. And we’re just wondering, are the Jets feeling the same way? And we got that answer from the head coach of the New York Jets after yet another loss to the New England Patriots, and I feel for this coach.”

Eisen is really just saying what almost every New York fan has been thinking for the last two weeks.
This season was supposed to be magical for the Jets, with future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers leading the way.
Instead, Rodgers was lost for the season after suffering an Achilles injury during New York’s first offensive drive of the year, and the team was left with no other choice than to start Wilson under center.
Things aren’t about to get any easier for Wilson and the Jets either, as the next game on their schedule is a meeting with Patrick Mahomes and the mighty Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night.
Since it will be in primetime, the game will be broadcast nationally, so everyone will likely get a better understanding of the pain that New York’s fans have been dealing with ever since the team inserted Wilson back into the lineup.
