What does the future hold for the Dallas Cowboys?

This is a question that many people are trying to answer after their surprising loss to the Green Bay Packers during the Wild Card weekend.

Dak Prescott’s future with the team is suddenly in doubt, as is Mike McCarthy’s role as their head coach.

Richard Sherman discussed this situation in a recent video shared by “The Volume” on Twitter.

When talking about Jerry Jones’ potential decisions, Sherman said, “I wouldn’t be surprised if he fired McCarthy before he even got in the locker room.”

While this might have been seen as a dramatic response from Sherman, his point stands.

With this loss to the Packers, he believes the Cowboys need to look seriously at their roster and how they run their organization.

A collapse of this magnitude generally falls on the head coach.

There were questions about McCarthy’s future with the team heading into the playoffs, and with this loss in mind, those questions get much louder.

The Cowboys are a historic organization that has been filled with history and winning, especially in the early 90s.

Given that it has been 30 years since their last title, people are getting impatient inside and outside the organization.

Whether Jones and the front office believe that the problem is with McCarthy, Prescott, or other factors, something will likely change in the offseason.

With any luck, they can unlock the keys to this team, finding a way to break through better than they could this year.
