The Las Vegas Raiders have a true leader on defense.
Maxx Crosby is a selfmade superstar.
That’s why Richie Incognito believes he’s the true definition of a Raider.
Talking to Julian Edelman for his Games with Names podcast, he shared his respect for the star pass-rusher.

He talked about how he thought the Raiders had messed up when they drafted a kid from a small college program.
Then, when he got clean and started working tirelessly on his craft and getting better, it was all over.
Incognito praised Crosby for always going all-in at practice, going as hard as possible on every single rep and leading by example.
Crosby’s history is one of self-improvement.
He went from being an afterthought and even struggling with substance abuse to being a perennial Defensive Player of the Year candidate.
His teammates respect him and look up to him, but how couldn’t they?
Now, with a former player and another tough and physical player like Antonio Pierce leading the way, it’s easy to understand why Crosby hit it off with him and related to him right off the bat.
The star EDGE rusher vouched for Pierce to get the job on a full-time basis, and even reportedly threatened to force his way out of Sin City if he didn’t get the job.
Needless to say, he now has a responsibility to back that up on the field as well, and we might get to watch his best version yet in 2024.
