Robert Griffin III knows a thing or two about a team failing its former Heisman-winning quarterback by neglecting to put the necessary pieces around him.

Another quarterback in a similar situation has seen his team have a busy offseason, and RGIII has taken notice and praised one team for what it has done so far.

Griffin took to Twitter and said, “The Panthers needed to get more protection and firepower on offense this offseason” before praising them for the bevy of moves that the front office has made both in free agency and in the draft, saying it is “all for Bryce.”

Bryce Young had a rough rookie year after being drafted No. 1 overall due to landing in a difficult situation with a poor offensive line and one of the worst groups of skill position players in the league.

Griffin highlighted all the moves Carolina has made so far, adding Diontae Johnson and Xavier Legette at wide receiver, while also selecting a pair of Texas Longhorns by making Jonathon Brooks the first running back off the board this year in the second round and taking tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders to kick off the fourth round.

Carolina also spent big money on guards Robert Hunt and Damien Lewis to beef up the offensive line.

Young needed weapons everywhere and now he has a lot more to work with heading into his sophomore season.

Last year, he had no time to throw and his receivers consistently failed to generate any separation.

We’ll finally get a chance to truly evaluate the Heisman winner and see if he can look more like the guy he was at Alabama.
