The Washington Commanders are expected to be sold very soon.

Owner Dan Snyder has essentially been forced to sell the team; everyone thinks it will be in the league’s best interest.

Snyder has been under investigation for financial impropriety, and a sexual harassment scandal has arisen with his team.

The Commanders are simply a mess and need someone new to lead the way.

Snyder is ready to sell the team and has a price set a $6 billion.

According to CBS Sports, as many as four bidders are trying to buy the Commanders.

The one we know about is led by Josh Harris.

But another interesting name has popped up in talks to be a part of the ownership group with Harris.

That is former Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III.

According to Front Office Sports, Griffin is in active talks to join the new ownership group.

He was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

RG3 had a historic rookie season and was seen by many as the next great NFL player.

Unfortunately, injuries derailed his career, and he never got back to the level we saw in his rookie season.

Still, Griffin must have love for the place that drafted him.

He wants to be a part of the ownership group that turns this franchise around.
