Former Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III was recently let go from his analyst role at ESPN and is now a free agent in the sports media world.
It’s unclear at the moment what’s next for RGIII, but he recently spoke to the fans to hint that something is in the works and they’ll hear from him very soon.
The Colorado Buffaloes recently shared a video on X of RGIII filming himself at Colorado’s headquarters, saying “Chillin’ in Colorado with Coach Prime and the boys, really excited about the season. They have an opportunity to take over the Big 12, but if you’re asking what are we doing here, stay tuned…we’ve got some big news coming for you guys…gonna be out of pocket, like always.”

Unless he is joining Colorado’s coaching staff in some capacity, when it comes to these types of announcements, your mind always goes to “he’s launching a podcast.”
RGIII was just vague enough in his messaging to leave everything open to interpretation, and it’s anybody’s guess what he meant by this video.
It’s not even clear that he’s actually in Colorado if you look at the background, so maybe he’s duping us all.
Warren Sapp was recently in camp with Colorado spending some time with the team and doing a little freelance coaching work, so perhaps RGIII is there to do the same and give a little insight to quarterback Shedeur Sanders about what it’s like to be a Heisman-winning college quarterback.
Whatever it is, RGIII will apparently be back on our screens soon.
