The New York Knicks keep rolling.

It wasn’t easy, but they managed to rally in the second half to secure a big win over the Indiana Pacers, and they’re now up 2-0 in the series.

The Knicks are officially two wins away from making it back to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Ironically, this team plays an old-school brand of basketball, and that’s what has made them special.

With that in mind, former NFL star Robert Griffin III took to Twitter to use one word to describe the Knicks.

“Tough,” Griffin said.

When you think of New York Knicks basketball, one word comes to mind. TOUGH. This Jalen Brunson led, Nova boys Knicks team embodies that IN YOUR FACE Knick swag we saw in the past. It’s made the playoffs interesting because THIS Knicks team can beat anybody left in the playoffs. pic.twitter.com/WM1yIlu8mq

We’ve seen some great teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder or Minnesota Timberwolves as well, but he’s right on point with the toughness part.

This Knicks team plays like a team that has nothing to lose, and they’re not afraid of anybody.

Their passion and their hustle are contagious, and while most of their starters would be role players somewhere else, their chemistry is simply unmatched.

Of course, this also comes with some concerns.

They’re not a deep team, and Tom Thibodeau has used mostly seven or eight guys during the playoffs, and those tired legs can lead to injuries and exhaustion at this point in the season.

That might already be the case with OG Anunoby, and missing him for a potential series with the Boston Celtics might put an end to their postseason run.
