The New England Patriots have been one of the worst teams during the 2023 NFL season, limping toward the end of the year.

The Patriots managed to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football, but they still sit at 3-10 during the season and are well on their way to a top-three pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Everything has to be on the table for New England who needs a hard reset if they want to get back to winning more football games.

The roster clearly has issues all over, especially offensively where the quarterback position is far from settled.

However, media and fans alike also believe that the team needs to start considering the real possibility of parting ways with head coach Bill Belichick.

Owner Robert Kraft has several tough decisions to make, and he didn’t seem to rule out firing Belichick via The Athletic.

“We want to do everything we can to get our team back so we can be winning,” Kraft said.

Pat McAfee spoke to Robert Kraft on College GameDay and hinted at the 3-10 Patriots possibly parting ways with coach Bill Belichick.

Belichick reportedly signed an extension in the offseason, but considering how poorly this season has gone Kraft has no choice but to consider parting ways with the head coach who led them to six Super Bowl championships.

There have been reports that Belichick’s coaching style is now outdated and that he can’t galvanize the roster like he used to.

How the Patriots lose the season could go a long way in determining whether or not Belichick leads the team next year, but it’s hard to imagine the franchise without such an iconic figure around.
