Each MLB season everyone wants to talk about who could potentially win league MVP.

The American League race seems to be all about Shohei Ohtani, who will win his second MVP award this year.

But, in the National League, a few players are having incredible seasons.

The leader of the pack almost all season has been Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr.

He is the massive favorite to win the NL MVP with only a few weeks left in the season.

But, the other three players in contention are Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, and Matt Olson.

A few weeks back Betts took over as the favorite to win but Acuna has since gone on a tear.

According to MLB Picks, Acuna is -800 to win MVP.

Those odds mean he is all but a lock to win.

All of these guys are putting up ridiculous numbers.

What is crazy is that all four of these players deserve to win the MVP.

Unfortunately, only one player can win.

Olson has the fourth-best odds and he has hit 51 home runs this year with 128 RBI.

Also, as you can see there are two Dodgers and two Braves up for the award.

That just goes to show the type of year both of those teams are having.

They are the first and second seeds in the NL and are on a crash course for the NLCS.

Seeing some of the game’s best players play on the biggest stage will be great for baseball.

But before we can get to the postseason, each of these players has a chance to make their closing argument on their MVP case.
