In more than 100 years of existence, the Chicago Bears have never had a star quarterback.
That’s why the Bears have all their hopes set on Caleb Williams to put an end to that curse.
And considering how little success Chicago sports teams have found lately, that’s just a lot of weight to put on his shoulders.
However, the rookie out of USC is unfazed by that.
In the latest episode of HBO’s Hard Knocks, Williams was spotted talking about how he never gets nervous (Via NFL).

He admitted that he did get nervous ahead of his first high school game, and he even fumbled a couple of snaps.
Other than that, he’s just ready to play.
That’s the kind of mindset and winning approach you want from any player, and that’s especially true when that player happens to be your franchise star.
Williams has been in the spotlight for most of his life.
He’s drawn comparisons to Patrick Mahomes and has been heavily scrutinized, for better or worse, for years now.
You must be mentally strong to be able to block out all those things and focus on the task at hand, and that’s often what separates good players from great ones.
Williams will have his ‘welcome to the NFL’ moment at some point, but it seems like he’s going to be ready for it when it comes.
