Rui Hachimura of the Los Angeles Lakers is about to represent his home country of Japan in the 2024 Olympics, which is a major accomplishment and career highlight for the young star.
But he has already done so much and played with so many icons during his years in the NBA.
Speaking to FIBA, Hachimura listed his all-time starting five featuring only people he has played with.
Hachimura listed Russell Westbrook, Bradley Beal, LeBron James, Kristaps Porzingis, and Anthony Davis as the players he would choose for his starting five.

That is quite the list and it proves that Hachimura has performed with some of the best stars in the league.
Hachimura got his start back in 2019 after being drafted by the Washington Wizards.
After playing there for about four seasons, he packed his bags and moved to the Lakers, where he has received more attention and spent more time in the spotlight.
Playing alongside James and Davis has enhanced his game in a number of ways and he has been relied on as one of the best role players in Los Angeles.
But with more responsibility and time on the court has come speculation about Hachimura’s future.
Will he remain with the Lakers for the years to come or will he be traded to another team?
The Lakers don’t have a lot of trade assets so if they ever make good on their promise of acquiring a third big star to play with James and Davis, Hachimura might be moved.
But for now, he is enjoying every second of being a Laker and playing with two of the players he would put in his dream starting five.
