Russell Westbrook‘s fingerprints have been all over the NBA history books for quite some time, but on Wednesday, the Los Angeles Clippers guard accomplished something that had never been done before.
The feat came as a result of Westbrook’s monster night against the Memphis Grizzlies in which he dropped 36 points and 10 assists.
With the performance, he became the first player in NBA history to have a 30-point, 10-assist game with five different teams.

Westbrook’s performance on Wednesday was likely his best of the 2022-23 season.
Not only did he drop 36 points and 10 assists, but he did so in very efficient fashion.
The veteran shot 13-18 from the field and 5-5 from beyond the arc.
He also took good care of the basketball, committing just two turnovers despite having a lofty usage rate of around 30 percent in the win.
Westbrook has been a worthwhile addition for the Clippers, who are 41-36 on the season after their latest victory.
The nine-time All-Star has averaged 15.3 points, 7.5 assists, and 4.9 rebounds per game with the squad while shooting 49.2 percent from the field and 32.1 percent from deep.
When healthy, Los Angeles still has the potential to be a very dangerous team in the Western Conference, especially if Westbrook can continue to produce.
The team has five games left in the regular season and will look to secure a solid seed heading into the playoffs.
As things currently stand, the Clippers own the No. 5 seed and are just half-a-game behind the Phoenix Suns for the No. 4 spot.
Los Angeles will be back in action on Friday for another game against the Grizzlies.
