The Denver Broncos underperformed on all expectations in Russell Wilson’s first season as their starting quarterback.

After finishing the season 5-12, the organization knew that significant changes needed to happen.

One such change was with their head coach, bringing in Sean Payton to right the ship.

With this one change in mind, many have predicted a greatly improved season for the Broncos.

Wilson has recently commented on the state of their offense, which he appears excited about.

According to reporter Zac Stevens, Wilson said, “I think it’s all coming together.”

The Broncos offense was one of the league’s worst last year, scoring just 16.9 points per game.

By that metric alone, they were the worst offense.

Wilson wasn’t able to achieve great chemistry with his wide receivers along with his 11 interceptions.

A typical dual threat, Wilson had just 55 rushing attempts last season, achieving 277 yards on the ground.

If he’s able to get back to his usual self, there’s no telling what the Broncos will be able to do this season.

Even though Wilson believes they are bringing everything together, they have a difficult path for a potential playoff run.

For starters, they play in the AFC West, one of the most difficult divisions in the league.

Wilson and the Broncos will play the Kansas City Chiefs twice, and the Los Angeles Chargers twice as well.

With less than a month to go until the regular season begins, fans won’t have to wait long to see how their season unfolds.
