Not even the most pessimistic NFL fan can avoid getting hyped up and excited about the upcoming season.
That’s just how they’re wired.
Even if their team has no realistic shot at winning the Super Bowl, they manage to convince themselves of the opposite.
That’s why even though some fans weren’t particularly high on Russell Wilson, his latest hype video has some Pittsburgh Steelers fans buzzing.
Wilson stated that they needed to take things one week at a time, adding that they were a team on a mission.

The Steelers are a bit of a question mark right now.
On the one hand, everybody knows just how good of a defensive team they can be with that roster and under Mike Tomlin’s tutelage.
On the other, their offense looked dreadful in the preseason, and they’re currently going through a string of major injuries to their offensive line.
Wilson has a lot to prove this season.
He’s earned his stripes and has accomplished plenty throughout the course of his borderline Hall of Famer career, but he hasn’t looked like the same player lately, and some believe he’s just not a starting-caliber quarterback anymore.
Justin Fields will be right there to challenge him and try to get his starting spot if he doesn’t hit the ground running, so the stakes have never been higher for the former Super Bowl champion.
This hype video could age very poorly if that’s the case.
But, for now, Steelers fans have every right to be excited.
