The NFL season is almost here.
Teams cut down their rosters last week, and most organizations seemed comfortable with the players they put together.
However, not every roster is solidified.
According to Nick Underhill, the New Orleans Saints recently brought in five receivers for workouts, potentially hoping to add at least one more player to their roster.

The receivers they worked out were Phillip Dorsett, Jahcour Pearson, John Ross, Ihmir Smith-Marsette, and David Wallis.
It remains to be seen if any of these players will be added to the active roster, or if they’ll join the practice squad.
Regardless of where these players end up, it’s a potential sign that the Saints aren’t comfortable with who they have at receiver.
Chris Olave is the alpha WR1 on this offense, but behind him, it’s mostly unknown.
Rashid Shaheed is listed as WR2 on the team’s depth chart, and A.T. Perry is WR3.
Shaheed showed some flashes of brilliance last year, and Perry has looked good at times.
However, neither player has been consistently solid, which is why there are concerns with the team’s wide receivers.
If they do bring in one of the players they worked out, it’ll be interesting to see how they integrate with the offense, and how quickly they’ll be able to do so.
Learning a new offensive scheme is a tall task for the most experienced players out there, and with just a few days until kickoff, the clock is ticking for the Saints.
