The NBA has been filled with a plethora of amazingly talented big men, so it’s hard to narrow down the best of the best to a few choices.

But on the latest episode of “The Draymond Green Show,” that is exactly what Green and Sam Cassell attempted to do.

Cassell claimed that his former Houston Rockets teammate, Hakeem Olajuwon, is the best center the league has ever seen.

Green admitted that this statement hurt his feelings because of his fondness for Shaquille O’Neal.

“That hurts my feelings because Shaq is my all-time favorite player in history,” Green said, via The Volume. “So I can’t roll wit’ you on that, but I respect it.”

While they agreed to disagree, they saw eye-to-eye on the fact that both Olajuwon and O’Neal were absolute beasts.

Cassell pointed out that he never got to see Wilt Chamberlain or Bill Russell play, so he didn’t include them on his list.

However, he did get to see O’Neal and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in person, and he put the two Los Angeles Lakers legends right behind Olajuwon.

At the start of his NBA career, Cassell played with Olajuwon and was able to witness his greatness firsthand.

He revealed how the Rockets used the center as an outlet and turned to him often during big games and he never let them down.

But he also spoke at length about O’Neal, talking about the days when the NBA icon tore down the court, laying out anyone who got in his way like an unstoppable force.

Listening to him talk about that physicality, one can understand how Green was so inspired by O’Neal.

Some people might not agree with Cassell or Green about their rankings, but there is no doubt how important these two players were.
