When training camp gets underway in the NFL, all types of roster moves are made across the league with all 32 teams.

Those moves could be as big as major contract extensions or something as small as minor tweaks to the roster to either bring in some fresh faces or let go of players who aren’t working out.

In Seattle, the Seahawks have made three recent tweaks to their training camp roster.

According to insider Aaron Wilson, the team signed wide receiver Ty Scott, waived cornerback Andrew Whitaker, and activated rookie linebacker Easton Gibbs.

Starting with Scott, the former UFL wide receiver put up 418 receiving yards and three scores for the DC Defenders last season.

He now joins fellow wide receiver Marcus Simms and running back Ricky Pearson Jr. as other UFL stars to join the 90-man roster in the Emerald City.

In order for Seattle to make way for Scott to join the squad, second-year cornerback Andrew Whitaker was waived.

In the final move of the three, Seattle decided to activate undrafted linebacker Easton Gibbs from the Non-Football Injury List.

Gibbs was a two-time All-Mountain West performer and recorded over 100 total tackles in back-to-back seasons for the Wyoming Cowboys to end his college career.

Right now, it is hard to say if Scott or Gibbs will be able to make a run at making the final roster at the end of training camp and the preseason.

But, they have a fighting chance after being given the all-clear signal by the organization to participate in all team activities.
