The Buffalo Bills were quite concerned about Stefon Diggs at the beginning of the season.

There was a lot of drama surrounding the star wide receiver, who seemed livid at the organization after another failed postseason trip.

His brother Trevon even urged the team to trade him, and he was visually upset with his situation.

So, what has been a tough season for the former star could get even worse, as he’s dealing with a foot injury that has kept him off the field in practice this week.

Nonetheless, Josh Palmer of the NFL Network reveals that HC Sean McDermott is still optimistic about having him on the field for the AFC Divisional Roud vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.

Sean McDermott said Stefon Diggs (foot) will practice today, but he’s expected to be limited. McDermott said he’s not concerned about his availability on Sunday.

Even if Diggs has been far from his best this season, we’ve already seen what he’s capable of doing, and the Chief’s defense cannot overlook him.

They shut him down earlier in the campaign, so he must have this game marked on his calendar, especially now with all the talk about him not being an elite wide receiver anymore.

The Bills have the perfect opportunity to get past their nemesis for the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era, but they’ll have to be flawless against that stellar defense.

Whether Diggs will continue to serve as a decoy or make a bigger impact remains to be seen, but he’s the kind of player you always want on the field when it matters the most.
