The Buffalo Bills barely beat the New York Giants last week.
It took them three quarters to finally score a touchdown against one of the worst defensive units in the league.
The same happened against the New England Patriots, and it’s starting to become a worrisome trend for the fans and the team alike.
Perhaps, the worst part about this is that not even HC Sean McDermott seems to have a clue as to why his team is struggling so badly to get going offensively.

“I wish I could tell you. I really do. I wish I could tell you,” McDermott said. “We talk about it. We talk about being more detailed, getting into a rhythm early, playing complementary football and all three phases working together. We haven’t been able to get into a good rhythm, obviously, in the first quarter. Let’s just start there. So, just overall, we’ve got find the answers there.”
The Bills have scored a grand total of 10 first-half points in its past three games combined.
They’ve managed to get going in the second half, but they’re still 1-2 in that span, and one could make a case for them being favored in every single one of those games.
Josh Allen threw an interception on the very first drive of the game, and the Bills had to overcome a 10-0 deficit almost right away.
They’ve proven to have the kind of offensive personnel to put up points and move the chains with ease against the best of them, but they can’t seem to get on the same page at the beginning of each game.
The Bills are now sitting on a 4-3 record and haven’t been nearly as good as most analysts thought they’d be at the beginning of the season.
It’s hard to envision them being able to keep up with the likes of the Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, or even the Jacksonville Jaguars at this point.
