The Los Angeles Rams have one of the best young coaches in the game.
Sean McVay had all eyes on him, as he was an unproven and young coach who, even though was a quick riser as an assistant, had to demonstrate his worth as the main guy.
Notably, it didn’t take long before he did so.
He even won a Super Bowl — and reached the big game twice — just a handful of years into his tenure as head coach.
Even so, there were rumors about his desire to retire or at least take a couple of years off from coaching, as he was completely worn out.
Fortunately for the team, that no longer seems to be the case.
In a recent sit-down with Kay Adams, he admitted that he was ‘misguided’ and that those rumors should be long gone, as he’s realized he loves coaching and being around his players too much (Via Up & Adams).

McVay recently admitted that he used to feel good about the fact that he could go days without sleeping, but he came to realize that he had to take care of himself in order to be able to do a good job.
The Rams are a bit of a wild card right now, but they should be competitive for as long as he’s out there calling the shots.
And if things go well and he’s not burnt out any time soon, he could be the main guy in charge of the team for the next two decades.
