The Los Angeles Rams head into the 2023 season with newfound expectations, especially after a down year.
Their roster was decimated by injuries, which included their star players Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp.
As Stafford looks forward to the upcoming year, his wife Kelly has recently made comments about his teammates.
She indicated that her husband has a tough time interacting with young teammates, a potential roadblock for this team.
However, Sean McVay was quick to dispel these comments.
According to McVay’s press conference via Pro Football Talk, “This guy’s done a phenomenal job of leading, connecting with his teammates.” he said.

Stafford is a 14-year NFL veteran.
He has seen a lot of different pass-catchers over the past 14 seasons, having to establish rapport with many new faces.
McVay believes Stafford is doing a fantastic job connecting with young receivers and doing adequate work as the Rams’ leader.
Even though he would probably prefer to throw every single pass to Kupp, that’s not a reality for Stafford.
With Odell Beckham Jr. gone, Stafford’s next-best options are Tyler Higbee, Van Jefferson, and newly-added Puka Nacua.
These three have received significant buzz throughout training camp, and will likely be Stafford’s highest target-getters.
The Rams have a difficult road to getting back to the Super Bowl.
Their division has gotten more difficult over the offseason, and they could struggle early if any injuries persist.
Can Stafford overcome all odds, growing with his new teammates to reach a common goal of winning another Super Bowl with the Rams?
