After an embarrassing performance back in Week 3 when they allowed 70 points to the Miami Dolphins, the Denver Broncos have quietly won three of their last five games.
With a 3-5 record heading into Week 10, the Broncos still have quite a bit of work to do before making the playoffs becomes a realistic possibility, but a win over the Buffalo Bills on Monday night would certainly help increase their chances of earning a postseason berth before the end of the 2023 campaign.
In an effort to get his team ready for Monday’s primetime showcase, Denver head coach Sean Payton utilized some interesting methods during the team’s practices in the last few days, including playing the “Monday Night Football” theme music and having a Bills logo painted on one of their practice fields.

Believe it or not, the Broncos actually have a better record (3-2) than Buffalo (2-3) in the last five weeks, so Monday’s matchup might actually end up being closer than some might have previously thought.
The Bills got off to a hot start this season with wins in three of their first four games.
But since then, Buffalo’s roster has been depleted by injuries, and they’ve suffered losses to the Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots, and Cincinnati Bengals.
As for Denver, it seemed like their 2023 season was going to be a disaster, with losses in each of their first three games, including the 50-point pounding by the Dolphins in Week 3.
But after a 15-point win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8, the Broncos improved their 2023 record to 3-5, and they will be looking to improve their record even more on Monday when they take on the Bills.
