Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has emerged as a superstar over the last few seasons, and he is leading a young and promising squad that has a great shot at claiming the Western Conference’s top seed.
He’s third in the NBA with 30.3 points per game, and he’s also averaging 6.3 assists, 5.5 rebounds, and a league-high 2.1 steals per game.
The 25-year-old gave his all-time NBA starting lineup, per ClutchPoints, and it’s an interesting one.

Gilgeous-Alexander is going with a three-guard setup of Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, and Allen Iverson, to go along with Kevin Durant at the 4 and Shaquille O’Neal in the middle.
Notably absent from his list are legends such as Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and LeBron James, but it’s his list, and obviously he’s entitled to his opinion.
Iverson is a curious choice for anyone’s ultimate starting five — while he was a great player, he shot a very low percentage from the field and generally isn’t considered one of the two or three greatest guards ever.
Jordan is arguably the greatest player ever, and Bryant and O’Neal can be found on plenty of these lists.
Durant may be 35 years of age, but he continues to play as well as he ever has, and he’s hoping to take a flawed but star-studded Phoenix Suns squad to an NBA championship.
Not that many people believe Gilgeous-Alexander’s Thunder, Durant’s former team, will go all the way this year, but there’s no doubt their future seems very bright, especially with big man Chet Holmgren having a very strong rookie season.
