Former NFL star Shannon Sharpe had gone radio silent since shutting down his partnership with Fox.

The legendary tight end agreed to a contract buyout to get both his podcast Club Shay Shay and himself away from the network, terminating his relationship with Skip Bayless and Undisputed.

Now, he’s finally broken the silence to reveal that he’s partnered with Colin Cowherd’s The Volume to bring Club Shay Shay with him.

Sharpe stated that he listened to multiple proposals but eventually believed that The Volume was the best place for him because of the fact that they always talked about it as a partnership.

Cowherd praised Sharpe for all the hard work he’s put into this new business endeavor, as not everybody’s suited for the grind that comes with being a part of sports media.

Sharpe responded by letting him know that sports were his life, so he decided to put that same level of commitment to this project.

Club Shay Shay has had no shortage of remarkable guests, and Sharpe continues to make his way in the sports media industry one step at a time.

Recently, Stephen A. Smith claimed that he would love it if Sharpe were to join him on First Take, stating that he’d be a major asset for ESPN and the show as a whole.

As for Undisputed, the show will try and replace him with a rotating lineup of former NFL stars Richard Sherman, Keyshawn Johnson, and Michael Irvin, all taking turns to debate with Skip Bayless.
