The NBA All-Star Weekend is just a few weeks away and, with it, comes the highly anticipated All-Star Celebrity Game.

This year’s game will feature the coaching skills of commentators Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A. Smith.

The two rivals spoke about their plans to coach during the latest episode of First Take.

During their conversation, Sharpe suggested that it was possible that LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers would serve as his assistant coach during the game.

The All-Star Celebrity Game is a chance for fans of the league to see famous people test their basketball skills against one another.

In the grand scheme of things, it’s just a bit of fun that doesn’t really have an impact on the NBA but it does make for some memorable moments.

And, sometimes, a celebrity will impress with their abilities on the court.

Sharpe will be joined by assistant coaches 50 Cent and Peyton Manning, while Smith will be assisted by Lil’ Wayne and A’ja Wilson.

But will James really make an appearance and help Sharpe?

Sharpe has always been a big fan of James and has celebrated and commented on his greatness for years.

And James will definitely be in town for the All-Star Game so it’s not impossible for him to show and make an appearance during the Celebrity Game.

It would certainly garner a lot of attention and likely a ton of inspiration for Sharpe’s team, which will consist of Lilly Singh, Micah Parsons, Conor Daly, Walker Hayes, and more.

In all likelihood, James will probably not appear at the All-Star Celebrity Game, but he will probably be watching, enjoying, and rooting Sharpe on.
