The Boston Celtics will have more than a week to rest, watch film, and get ready for the NBA Finals.

That’s a much-deserved prize after taking care of business in just four games vs. the Indiana Pacers.

Also, with a likely matchup with the Dallas Mavericks in the next stage, they will definitely need as much rest as they can get.

That’s especially true for Jrue Holiday, who Shannon Sharpe thinks will be the most important Celtic in the NBA Finals.

Talking on ESPN’s “First Take,” Sharpe claimed that Holiday will have his work cut out for him because he will have to deal with Luka Doncic.

Sharpe explained that Holiday wouldn’t be able to body and size him up like he did with the Indiana Pacers’ guards because Luka has a big body and can play through him.

And while there’s no such thing as stopping Doncic, Sharpe says Holiday will have to keep him in control, especially in terms of his playmaking.

Sharpe claimed that Luka is even more dangerous for his passing than for his scoring, as he can get everybody involved and going when he gets double-digits assists.

The Mavericks have one of the most offensively talented backcourts this game has ever seen, and they pose a massive talent for any defense on Earth.

The Celtics have two outstanding defenders in Holiday and Derrick White, and while Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown will handle all the scoring, it might go down to how effective these guys are at getting stops.
