For months now, everyone has been wondering where Bronny James, the son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, will go to college.

Just a few days ago, we found out the answer.

James committed to attend USC, just miles away from where his father plays at Crypto.com Arena.

There has been a lot of reaction to James’ announcement, with many thinking that this sets him up very well for a promising NBA career.

Speaking on Monday’s Undisputed, Shannon Sharpe said that signing with USC was the right move for James.

“He made the best choice for him and now he’ll get to experience the college life. He worked his tail off to get here,” Sharpe said.

James had multiple choices to select from when he was determining where he’d attend college.

It’s not just because of his father’s status in the league – James is a legitimately fantastic young basketball player.

By playing at USC, he can perform alongside other up-and-coming future stars at a school with a good basketball program.

Most analysts agree that James still has some things to address but he will likely be a first-round pick in next year’s draft.

He has been hailed for his ability to score at the perimeter and his play-making abilities.

Now that he is moving to USC, he will be increasing his focus on basketball.

Playing at such a high level will allow him to mature, tweak, and improve his style.

By this time next year, he could be a much better player and may be more enticing to a bunch of NBA teams.

James’ father has always said he wants to play with his son in the NBA.

This latest decision is a big part of making that happen.
