Wednesday night’s game was a tough one for the Miami Heat.

The three ball wasn’t falling, and they just couldn’t find an answer to contain Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.

Both of the Nuggets’ stars had 30-point triple-doubles, and you’re obviously not going to win a lot of games when you allow two players to go off like that.

That’s why Shannon Sharpe seems to believe that the series is over already.

Jamal Murray was the difference-maker for the Nuggets in Game 3 win, says @ShannonSharpe:

“Last night was as good as the Nuggets could play and I don’t think the Heat can get to that level.” pic.twitter.com/6CDvZzLIS0

While he didn’t exactly say that, the Pro Football Hall of Famer pointed out the fact that the Heat simply cannot reach that level of play, while the Nuggets have the resources to have that kind of performance multiple times.

Jokic is playing like the best player on Earth, and it’s not even close.

And if they don’t set the tone early defensively and also allow Murray to get into that sort of rhythm, then there’s not much they can do to hope and get a win.

Mike Malone’s team is well-balanced and well-coached.

Even with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Michael Porter Jr. combining for just 10 points, they still managed to win by double digits and were in control of the game from the jump.

We’ve seen the Heat scrape their way out of these sorts of situations way too many times in the playoffs already.

But maybe they’ve already peaked and overachieved, and coming back against such a balanced and talented group of players will be the toughest task they have had to face thus far this season.
